The main attractions to Florida for most people are the beaches and the Disney theme park. The best places to visit in Florida are not located in the usual tourist areas but are secluded.

The state is divided into four regions Florida panhandle, north Florida, central Florida and south Florida. The last of the regions is home to the lovely beaches that the state is synonymous with. Central Florida is were most of the theme parks and the film studios like universal and Walt Disney are located. The state has a diverse concoction of societies. The sate will surprise people because the further south you go the more northern the lifestyle is. In the north of the state you will find that people practice a more southern way of life for example you will find cooking that is similar to that you find in Georgia. The state is unique in this sense as it has it defines its own way of life and does not follow the stereotypes of the other states. The landscape in the state full of wet lands and lakes in most of the state, the landscape is basically flat.

The cities of the sate are very much developed and this is not surprising for a state that is known for being a tourist hub. Once you are in Florida you can get around the state using a bus and greyhound is the major operator. You can use a car and use the various interstate highways to connect to the cities that you are going to.
